The surprise was on me this morning when 14 guys showed up for FKT! Frodo reminded me it was 15 if you include the ghost of DonHo. And 16 if you include Kosar taking off for another Murph practice round ahead of Memorial Day.

Welp, the real surprise today was that we ran, did leg and core work, then repeated.

Start at the Birkdale stage and do:

20 step ups, 20 bulgarian split squats

bear crawl across the “grass” patch

20 lunges, 20 Kobe Bryant squats (RIP)

Run a mushroom 🍄 lap around the Birkdale movie theater then repeato until 6:09.

Back to home base where BC took us out with a rowboat canoe peddle boat houseboat medley or something. It didn’t matter because everyone felt like a tugboat by then.

Props to Hang Time for pulling his calf during the first part of the run, but sticking around to do reps in front of Birkdale stage, hurt but still putting in work. Way to hang in there, you earned your nickname today.

Honey Bee found a kindred spirit in Cubicle. It must be the hair.

Great to see Slingshot backed out. I wonder the other BGs will ever make it again. 

Crocs and Pit Stop came to see the surprise. It was hard to tell if they were disappointed or not. I think Pit Stop was. The real surprise would have been if one of them came without the other. Crocs has a cool new 4Runner that looks like it’s from the 70s. New retro is the way to go.
