Have OYO Picnic


8 PAX showed on this very muggy morning (woo the humidity)

Since each PAX could modify, to have OYO Picnic, the POST went something like this…

Mosey to Harris Teeter front parking lot for:

Warm O Roma: Slow Windmill IC X 10, carrot pullers IC X 15, chin to knee for 5 count hold (flip flop after), runners stretch for 5 count hold (flip flop).

Squeeze through opening in brick wall, then open run down Highway 115. Settled in at Legion Park picnic tables for:

The Thang –

Each PAX picked a picnic table for 3 rounds of 3 separate exercises. After each round we Moseyed along different walking trails through the park.  The Q chose:

1st Round: Decline Mericans X 15 count, bench step ups X 15 count each leg, bench dips X 15 (or maybe 16 by accident) count 

2nd Round: Hand release Mericans X 15 count, lunges X 15 count each leg, and bench dips X 15 count

3rd Round: Decline Mericans X 15, bench step ups X 15 count each leg, bench dips X 15 count 

Mobility for:

Air bender, pretzel crunch X 10 each side, full crunch X 10, LBCs IC X 10, low flutter IC X 10, Rosalitas IC X 10. Recover for: Toy Soldiers IC X 10

Hill work: All PAX ran 70% up the steep street adjacent to Legion Park, then went back for half of the hill (except Cousin Eddie who ran another full hill catching All Pax at the top). Impressive work Cousin Eddie.

Open run back to starting point for: air bender, runners pretzel stretch

On a Hough-Mor-is note, since I “stole the keys from Jersey Boy” I’m not at all thankful for the opportunity to Q at Fission (humor over) a respectable and well established AO. A 1st time Q’ing at Fission, and it was all the better with this enthusiastic crowd of Fine PAX. Appreciate the opportunity y’all 👊.
