YHC received a text from Moses on Thursday night sent to a few of the PAX requesting a Friday morning OTB trail run in Davidson. Moses would be heading home late Thursday night on a flight from Lancaster, PA and was looking for a battle buddy for Friday morning. YHC’s original plan was to sleep in for no real legitimate reason other than just feeling lazy but so glad the offer was accepted. Moses and YHC met at the trail head parking lot off of Ridge Road at 630am (a little sleeping in compared to a 530 bootcamp workout) and ran / walked (80% run) a Strava-verified 3.76 miles with 548 feet of elevation change. Sometimes doing the hard thing when you don’t feel like it is the right thing and that’s what this run felt like. We followed the run with some 2nd F at Summit coffee in Davidson with Metallica, BagBoy, Copper Top, and Landline.
It was an awesome morning.
