27+ of F3 Isotope’s finest men were part of a special day of fellowship and giving back to the worthy mission of the Hope House Foundation in Huntersville.  In the weeks leading up to the event, 9 PAX courageously volunteered to be dunk tank participants and  individually raised sponsorship dollars from family, friends and other F3 men. Some were gently nudged and coerced, while others were all-in as soon as they heard of the opportunity.

As the 9 dunk tank participants gathered at 10:15am on the hot asphalt parking lot for a group picture , it was clear that this day would be special.  There was a mutual feeling of camaraderie, humility, gratefulness, and pride about the purpose of this mission.  After a few pics, Debbie O’Handley, the Executive Director of Hope House, warmly greeted those who were gathered and spoke about the history of Hope House and the unique opportunity the men of F3 have to make a difference in the lives of the women and their children who live on the property.

The morning would proceed with all 9 PAX getting dunked including a lot of the residents and their children joining in.  As you might imagine, there was plenty of trash talking and just good old-fashioned fun.  There were even several town officials who stopped in to witness the event and even one of them volunteered to take a plunge.

There was so much coordination that went into making this event a success and YHC can’t thank the PAX enough for all the selfless leadership and support the men of F3 Isotope provided along the way.  For weeks leading up to the event, there were reminders in backblasts, reminders in CoTs, sharing on social media, PAX who owned businesses stepping up to sponsor the event, PAX stepping up to coordinate and contribute to food and refreshments, PAX giving of their time to ensure logistical details were scoped out in advance and so many other generous acts of service that did not go unnoticed.

SOUND OFF IN COMMENTS IF I MISSED ANYONE WHO ATTENDED.
