Two Truths and a Lie

The group gathered at 5:30 at the finest AO in Cornelius.  And yes, it was cold.  The Q started us off with a serpentine mosey around the HT parking lot while some last minute PAX made their way to the group.

Warm-up consisted of the usual:  SSH, IST, Long Snappers, Windmills, Toy Soldiers, and low slow squats and merkins.  There was quite a bit of mumble chatter, but that was expected with our teeth already chattering from the cold.

Moderate mosey around the square and we found some curb to do some Mohammed Alis, curb merkins (right hand on the curb, left hand on the curb, both hands on the curb, and decline), and curb squats (right foot on the curb and left foot on the curb).  The mumble chatter seemed to intensify until someone finally called out for a 10-count.  The Q obliged.

Moderate mosey around the square with a repeat-o and some Big Baby Crunches with feet touching the curb thrown in.

Moderate mosey around the square with a forward lunge half-way down one side and a reverse lunge the rest of the way.

Mosey to a breezeway for two rounds of People’s Chair, air press, and dips.  The PAX thought we were heading back to launch . . . we weren’t.

Back to the square for more Muhammed Ali’s and a quick audible to hang out with Greyhound for a minute or two . . . but then back to the square for some Crunchy Frogs led by Stromboli and a few more Big Baby Crunches.

Mosey to the Breezeway for incline merkins, dips, and decline merkins, followed by a lap around the small parking lot and some Low Flutters, Touch ‘dem Heels, and W’s.

Back to the Launch for 30 seconds of Plank, merkins, and Pidgeon, with a set of Diamond merkins thrown in.  There may have been a Rosalita as well.

Finally a half lap around the HT parking lot and one, but only one, burpee.  Recover . . . recover . . . whew!

The Q will admit that he was worried about it being so cold.  That concern went away pretty quick as we worked up a sweat!

There were a few rebels who refused to do some of the exercises (Callahan) but the Q will assume some of the PAX just had better exercises to do that were much more creative than what was being offered.

Thanks for showing up this morning guys!  It would have been easy to sleep in, especially with it being below freezing.  Appreciate the opportunity to lead you all.  And thanks Outlaw for handing over the keys for a morning.
