Brrrrrrrrrrr!

In pursuit of our Mighty Oak patches, Mulligan and YHC planned our co-Q then as we both emerged in a the gloom we both wondered if any other pax would show…  but we felt pretty sure Crocs would as he needed just one more post to earn his patch.  YHC needed one more Q.  Mulligan needed 2 more Qs.  And there’s your pax list for today!  It was cold, we briefly contemplated calling 1 exercise each then COT for credit (MQ was out sick so it was the perfect opportunity) but no – we held each other accountable and went to work.

Mulligan led the warm-o-rama with some of the usual exercises.  Not judging Mulligan, but none of the 3 of us were warm when warm-o-rama concluded!  But it was also 21 degrees…

YHC’s turn so we moseyed a bit through the parking lot, stopped in front of the school for Merkin Mania (declines, inclines and regular on the walls of the plant/tree boxes). Also worked in a set of slow squats so YHC had another minute to keep my hands in my hoodie pocket.

Next (after multiple disclaimers) we tried something new.  Next exercise is:  Squats on Balls.  In cadence.  Yeah, we climbed up on the large cement balls and did squats while we held our balance.  Good burn.

Next was 4 Corners.  We’d mosey to each corner of the parking lot doing an exercise IC at each corner.

We just happened to end in the bottom corner which just happened to be closest to the block storage site, which is what Mulligan called for as he took his turn in The Thang.  Curls, wall work, squats, skull crushers and more.  Those blocks were COLD no matter how thick your gloves were.

Blocks back and we’d end with YHC leading MNAR.  No MWAR today.  Only 3 pax, it was cold and we were down to 5 mins.  So YHC didn’t whip it out.  Instead, the big, long, thick, black… rope stayed in it’s big, black container but we did circle up around it for Mary Near A Rope.

Took turns calling it.  Recover, recover.

Congrats to Crocs and YHC for joining the elite crowd of not many other pax who have earned the patch.  Mulligan and Roadie will co-Q next week to earn theirs.  The criteria was 12 posts, 4 Qs in 2023 I believe.  Nice plan, Estwing.  It worked!
