Here I am waiting for the familiar faces I enjoy seeing in the gloom, waiting, waiting and no one in sight. Right around 5:30 this guy walks up to join me. I recognized him but couldn’t quite place the face, he said his name was Malcolm Crowe. He and I worked out in the icy gloom. Merkins in cadence, heavy breathing and the scuff of our trainers could be heard through the still, frigid air. He said he would help me find the missing pax, so off we looked for them. High and low no one could be found. Then he told me he had another case to solve, and as quickly as he had arrived he was gone! I turn around, staring at my pickup, hearing the clicking as it cooled down from this morn’s venture. Could it be? No. Surely that wasn’t Bruce Willis.
