YHC, AM-PM, Ichabod, and Swiftie are participating in F3 Clevelands May Challenge. Week 1 included a mini challenge with the instructions below. We did a quick warmorama and began. Canuck and Bagboy left us to ruck.
We did the below challenge for 43 minutes. Everyone got in 10 solid rounds for a total of:
500 merkins
250 curls
250 WW2s

This was tough and more reps than I think anyone bargained for. I appreciate Squid, JB, and Hippie putting up with such a monotonous beatdown and not complaining. Prayers for UM, Bagboys friend’s mother who is in the final stages, JBs friend Nate, all marriages and unspoken requests. Thanks to all for the great work this morning. Until next time.

OK, now the math makes sense. I somehow thought there were 500 of each exercise, but of course only the merkins were doubled. Nevertheless, I did my best to maintain form on the merkins, even though that slowed me down considerably towards the end. As predicted, I can definitely feel it in my chest and back today, although not as much shoulders as I anticipated. It’s a great variation to do mega-reps of just a few exercises. If you don’t get sore sometimes, you’re not getting stronger.
