The Thang
Today, we did the Falcon 026 as a tribute beatdown for Falcon.
In the Gloom of Monday 4/29/24 at AO Wet Willy in STL-Meramec with a PAX count of 14, an unthinkable tragedy occurred. FNG, Jason Richards, had finished his first workout and the naming process was underway. Jason shared about his love for his four kids, his incredibly strong wife, and love for “real” country music before collapsing.
The 14 SSH In Cadence remind us we do this together and that Falcon was the 14th man that morning of his passing. The 26 count, remembers the legacy he left and impact on his 026 community.
-14 SSH (28 IC)
-26 Flying Squirrels (modified by 10 burpees and 16 Bobby Hurley’s)
-26 American Hammers OYO
-13 Lunges each leg (26)
-13 curls (26 IC)
-26 hand release ‘Merkins
-14 SSH (28 IC)
-Long lap mosey around the parking lot
Repeato x4 rounds

Moleskin:
There was much mumble-chatter. Apparently YHC was rusty with his Q skills after being DR for a week. All Pax got it done. The 75 Hard group of Tuffy, Tammy Faye, The Force, and YHC were reunited (been missing those guys); Edsel was back at it again and pushing hard; Rodeo was keeping everyone in check and from getting too loud or rowdy like a good youth leader does; Hasselhoff was living up to his name and being smooth as always (he’s kind of a big deal in Germany too); Snake Eyes made the Merkins look easy; and AM-PM got in some extra pull up reps after the beatdown (and even convinced some others to join him). Always great to start the day with my F3 brothers.
About Falcon
The men in the Gloom with Falcon that morning immediately sprung to action to apply First AID/CPR and call 911. He was quickly transported to the hospital by ambulance, but unfortunately he did not survive. Jason agreed to show up to his first F3 workout after a long-time multi-approach EH. He was the cornerstone of his family and sole provider as his wife has been battling cancer for quite some time. Jason also served selflessly in the youth sports programs of his community including the Jr. Football Program as a longtime coach, dedicated to helping turn boys into young men. Jason was named “Falcon”, in honor of his tremendous commitment and involvement with the Rockwood Summit community (63026 or the 026) and Athletic programs. His favorite attire was cargo shorts and a Rockwood Summit shirt (Maroon and Black).
Let’s be thankful today gents. We take so much for granted. Continue to lift up prayers for Falcon’s family who were struggling even before this tragedy.

“Tiffy”. He’s such a great guy. Glad he replaced Tuffy in our 75 Hard Shield Lock.
A of course you saw that. Will TUFFY have a new nickname as a result of YHC’s poor typing skills?
Tiffy has since been edited to reflect a much manlier (and accurate) name. Sorry for the initial typo TUFFY!
