2nd Thursday of the month means Samson Suicides and its Q’s choice of how that plays out. Today 3 pax including YHC did 3 rounds of parking lot suicides with 690 block reps woven in. These pax are ready for the pool/beach!
First we each grab 2 blocks and have a brief warm-o-rama. Then we’d take one block and drop it 5 rows down the parking lot. Mosey back to the top where block 1 is.
10 chin-ups to activate the arms.
This months suicides:
Run to the first row and back, 10 reps with block. Run to 2nd row and back, 20 reps. 3rd row and back, 30 reps, then 40 then down 5 rows to the second block. 50 reps there, then back up to the top where we’d finish each round with 60 reps.
Block exercises were:
Full curls
Skull crushers
MCcalf raises
10+20+30+40+50+60 = 210 reps of each exercise and a whole lotta burn.
Before returning the blocks we’d also do 30 lawn mowers each arm.
Blocks away, mosey down to the cars for a quick round of Mary.
YHC was alone in the parking lot a few mins before 0530 thinking there might be a pax no-show. Contemplated going home for a garage lift, going home for stretching/coffee or maybe checking out Wilderness. But YhC was not considering solo Samson Suicides.
Well in the end the Suicides were completed and Gambini, Snake Eyes and YHC were better for it and will know it all day long (and our arms might remind us about it tomorrow).
