3 Pax were not scared off by the pb, the pb that promised some sledding in August, that’s right, FINALLY YHC brought the sled BACK to Samson! Once the equipment was all set up, I got in a few easy laps around the parking lot before Jenny, then Drebin, then Force all rolled in ready to go. Drebin and Jenny wanted a good workout this morning so they got the Q pumped with some controversial Red Line talk and we were off!
Warmora
- The usual: SSH, IST, Toy Soldiers, Hillbilly, mountain climbers, and 10 merkins OYO
Thang
- 4 Pax, 4 stations. Worked out perfectly just like I planned. The main event is the sled. Down and back. Other 3 Pax rotated between dumbbell overhead press, KB swings, and block curls (and possibly a rest station was added somewhere along round 7…). We made it thru 9 rounds – 9 grueling rounds – heart rates were dangerously high somewhere in the 240 bpm range most likely, but everyone put in the work and got stronger today. Didn’t even notice how cool the weather was
Moleskin
- Always a crowd pleaser bringing out the sled, always a great workout. Good work by everyone this morning.
- Great group accountability this morning – would have been hard to get thru 9 rounds by myself – just another example of why F3 matters.
- Remember – don’t overeat today.
- Continued prayers for Force’s mom and dad as they persevere through the next stage of treatment.
- And thanks to Force for giving me the chance to lead this morning. Plenty of open Q spots at Samson coming up! Step up and sign up today!
Wish I’d read this BB before 3:30PM today. Already over – ate. 🙁
Had I known more about that sled when I saw the PB – I might very well have been scared off!
Great workout. Definitely burned some cals, built some strength. It was… “fun”.
My legs are feeling it today.
