If anything…this is what to read!
TClaps to those who showed up and embraces the suck of an old school Olive workout. Moby mentioned there may be fear among the Pax. Apparently true. Appreciate all the hars work, huffing and puffing and effor to keep moving forward. Thats how winning is done!
Yesterday, we went to Church as Michael embarks on his Confirmation year. We brought his workbook to Mass and he paid attention to the message.
That message…we must suffer to have redemption like Christ did.
I had worse things planned but audibled. This was suffering enough…although I thought.
Today…a regular day. Easy day at work scheduled. Gonna be good and start the week off right Qing and laying off the wine.
Then, my world was rocked again!
Already, we have gone through the worst trauma possible. Today, that fear and helplessness reared its ugly head again.
Last night, we got a warning that threats were being circulated. Today, get a notification Michael’s school was on lockdown. I saw our kids were being evacuated but just for precautionary reasons.
Then, following the police social media, I learn that the kids are not only being evacuated, but bussed off campus. WTH!
I was working from home and soon as able, made my way to the supposed drop off. Michael never answered his phone (was told to leave everything behind).
Sat in the pouring rain. Waited in an old warehouse where we were dry but hot and smelled like an old farm. There was a parent who got into a wreck at the intersection. There was a diabetic emergency in the building.
Hours later, the M and I were able to hug our son after he and his classmates were bussed over.
Michael shared that the principal, and officers with rifles and AKs, escorted them out. 😶
PSA. Parents! Wake the fuck up and act like a parent. Know what your kid is watching, what your kids are listening to, and know who your kids are associating with. And take ownership yourselves. Your kids (2.0s) are a reflection of YOU!
BE BETTER!
Thankful we get to hold our son tonight. Give your kids and extra hug tonight!
I pray this crap stops! 🙏🙏🙏
Thankful to the Cornelius Police Department and their tremendous response.
God bless all our first responders! 🙏🙏🙏
THANKFUL FOR MY F3 BROTHERS. AND ESPECIALLY THANKFUL FOR GREYHOUND, WHO HAS BEEN MY WHETSTONE AS OF LATE!
LIVE LIFE. OWN EVERY SECOND. NEVER TAKE LIFE FOR GRANTED!
HUMBLY YOURS,
OLIVE
A beatdown like no other 💪🏼. Real deal, jello arms, pulsating veins, pumped up muscles, eyebrow sweating, and posture straightening workout. Thankful for it 👊🏼
Appreciate you taking the Q Olive. You are welcome anytime. I’ll do my best to try and keep.
Thanks for the vote of confidence and keeping in touch and keeping me accountable! Appreciate the friendship and brotherhood! Aye!
Accountability is a push, but you are still putting in the work 💪🏼. Plus, you kinda told me to hold you accountable, so I am basically just doing, well, what you told me to do 😉
Olive – Always appreciate the rawness of your messages and challenges to the PAX through your own lens of suffering. Thank you brother!
