This workout was first executed on a frigid January morning in 2023.  The Isotope Pax were starting to get sloppy in their bootcamp form and execution, so it was time to break out my favorite Gladiator coupon, the small but mighty brick.

Serpentine Mosey (Butt Kickers, High Knees) to the woodshed.

WARM-O-RAMA

  • SSH x 25 IC
  • Toy Soldier x 15 IC
  • Imperial Storm Trooper x 15 IC
  • Slippery Dip Can x 15 IC
  • Slow Windmill x 15 IC
  • Front Leaning Rest to Mountain Climbers x 15 IC
  • Plank Jacks x 15 IC

It was at this point that a very tardy Amen graced us with his presence.

THE THANG

Grab two bricks.

*Note: If the bricks touched the ground from this point forward, there would be a self-imposed 5 burpee penalty

  1. Three sets of each then run a lap around the second island
    • Alternating Curls x 20 IC
    • Triceps Kickbacks x 15 IC
    • Shadow set his bricks down to tie his shoe and took his penalty with humility and dignity
  2. Three sets of each then run a lap around the second island
    • Bent Over Row x 20 IC
    • Reverse Fly x 15 IC
    • Toby and POS recalled how hard this was in January when your hands started to go completely numb
  3. Three sets of each then run a lap around the second island
    • Chest Press x 20 IC
    • Chest Fly x 15 IC
  4. Core Finish
    • WWII Sit-ups OYO

Run back to launch.  Roughly 0.75 miles of running.  Recover, recover.
