Pax of 7 boarded TheCaboose at 0530 for a Greenway Express run. All got 5 miles in. All got a full 45 minutes of chatter. That’s a full workout.
COT happened
Moleskin:
- Prayers to Mini Me’s father-in-law on some lymph node testing.
- Prayers to Mulligan’s M who is having surgery today.
- Great weather. A crisp 54 degrees is about optimal for running.
- Chilly Willy will run #Chippendale style even at 40 degrees.
- Mini Me may post next week and get renamed Two Hats. Couldn’t decide which hat to wear so he wore them both. Look, don’t mock it. You may be cool, but you’re not two backwards ball caps cool. It’s the sporty equivalent to the two-popped-collars.
- Tuffy and Mulligan were awesome as usual. They seem to be able to run at every pace and they use it well. Watch one of them the next time you run. They will run with every group of runners that separates and talk to them all, fast, slow, fast again.
- Beave found the fountain of youth. We’ve all known this. But he proved it with his sub-4 marathon last week, and that he’s going to double down and do Charlotte in a month.
- Apparently Beave gave 9 Lives the coordinates to the fountain, because 9er is on an epic heater of top performance. Running fast, winning adventure races, saving lives.
- Tested the new nail-less toes and they were good.
