Some things Never Change

10 Pax wanted to find out if Toxic would ever stop talking at Arnie’s Army this morning.  They discovered the answer is “no.”   But that’s what we expected, so no one was disappointed, at least in that.

After a shoddy disclaimer, 2 laps around the parking lot and some simple warm-o-rama, we grabbed the blocks and did stuff.

Stuff consisted of: slow curls, slow squats, block ‘Mericans, lawn mowers and 25 old-school sit-ups.

We hoofed it to the bridge for a very, very traditional over-and-back @ 10 ea.

Then another traditional tunnel of love across the bridge. (Someone noted the #PB did not call for gloves. It didn’t call for shirts or shoes either. We survived and after checking with the local hospitals, no cases of frost bite were reported this morning.)

We finished the bridge session by broad jumping the length of said bridge and then moseyed back for bocks round 2.

Negative curls, negative slow squats, overhead press, block ‘ Mericans, bent-over row, old-school sit-ups again.

After one short mosey down to the picnic benches, picking up trash along the way (thank you, Auto, for that suggestion) we performed squats to the bench in cadence, slow dips and decline ‘Mericans.

We reversed course back to the top of the lot and finished our block work with curls, lawn mowers and 25 more old-school sit-ups.

The blocks were re-placed and we had a brief MARY session with The W, The ALBC, The LBE.

Naked Moleskin:

  1. Christmas party is for real on the schedule for December 06 at 760 Brewing.  Bring an unwrapped toy.  Much fun could be had by many
  2. 9 Lives’ Adventure Race is this Saturday.  Again, much fun could be had by many.
  3. One of the younger Pax could use some lessons in the difference between a bear and a gorilla, or at least in how they tend to travel
  4. Continued requests for prayers and support for Western NC and all those suffering from wars and difficulties overseas.
  5. Thanks for the invite, Tammy Faye- it’s good to get out of the routine sometimes.
  6. Make it a great week, gents.
