6 for the first Freezing Murph of the season. YHC was way over dressed, but I’d rather shed a layer than be freezing. 0531 and everyone wants to talk. Well it’s time to this force to interrupt your body at rest and get it moving.

Reflection

Which I gotta give t-claps to my 2.3 cheese who already knew the Verse of the Day was Romans 15:5… 

May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus.

Well if you stop before the comma and you take the verse out of context you might conclude that we should all “coexist” like the bumper stickers. As a Christian I am called to more than just “coexist”. Reading the whole chapter Paul is speaking to Christ followers to live in harmony with other Christ followers despite we may have come from different backgrounds, i.e. Jew and Gentile/Roman (then).

Moleskin

  • Dirt started a new job and is back in the gloom from ankle issues.
  • Bertha is back out today and vows to come more frequently. The elbow held up well.
  • Crabby tells stories of getting his 6 YO 2.0 to run with him
  • A really bight meteor passed by and left a trail of light in it’s dust about 0540. 2nd brightest one I’ve ever seen.
  • Sparrow announces he might be past flag football age
  • Cheese didn’t seem too excited last night when he asked if today was a Murph.
  • A body in motion tends to stay in motion while a body at rest tends to stay at rest unless acted on by external forces. So if you aren’t posting to a couple of workouts of runs a week you are a body at rest. Time to get out of the fartsack and start moving with purpose. Motivation can be your external force to start back moving. Discipline to continue moving forward can be your inertia (until you get an injury). Don’t wait until Jan 1 to start back in the gloom.
