Nobody showed up in the gloom. I was surprised. I sad clowned some burpees and stretching and then drove to the suds run launch point and doomscrolled X for about 30+ minutes. Interestingly I did NOT see on x that just two and a half hours prior a terrorist attack had taken place on American soil. It wasn’t until late that evening when we found out the Georgia game had been postponed that decided to lookup the reason why. Pretty odd media coverage over this issue if you ask me. This morning at Java I forgot to mention the victims in prayer request at COT. So I decided to dedicate this backblast to offer condolences to the victims and their families. The guy is supposedly from Texas. He’s apparently a US army veteran who was displaying multiple isis flags & drove a rented truck through bourbon street at 3am on new years morning. Many people reported hearing shots being fired from the vehicle and he exchanged gunfire with police striking 2 officers at the end of the attack. Again, strange coverage of such an event. I hadn’t heard a peep and never would have if the GA game hadn’t been delayed. Prayers and God Bless.
