At some un-known hour, one man stepped into the brisk August night and ran an un-known distance. This man was Mortimer.
At 4:45 am, 4 other men (Fenway, Turnpike, Turncoat, and YHC) joined this loan man and ran 1.5 miles out and back to Hough HS.
At 5:00 am, 8 more men including Mr Burns, Dallas, and several of the Goat Busters joined this group of runners and completed a circuit of the retirement village for either 2.5 mi or some added some extra credit by heading out to Hough HS to get around 3.2 mi.
Finally, at 5:30 am, approximately 12 more men joined the group for a #Fireball loop. Mortimer gave the 29:15 record a run but came up just short with a very respectable 32 minute time. Most others seemed to be on a more reasonable pace. The Goat Busters even elected to do some 600m track work instead of #Fireball. Ouch.
Overall, it was a great day at #Halflife. You can tell the BRR is coming with all the runners hitting the streets. With this kind of training, you will kill it. Thanks for the great run!
