11 PAX were promised running and they were not disapointed (maybe slightly) as a new regime was ushered in at Odyssey.
After sorting out the runners from the boot campers, the Odyssey crew took off on a special route exploring territory only recently discovered by the new MQ / Co-Q. The route covered Northcross, shot across Devonshire thru Birkdale, into Breckenridge and then back. Here were the high and low points:
- Garcia honored us with his presence all the way from south Charlotte
- The Goatbusters were there to support the new MQ
- Northcross has a new sidewalk. It's a gateway between Dingo's house and La Unica and the family is really excited it's almost complete.
- A turtle was rescued by former MQ The Count on the Devonshire Bridge
- About half the crew departed at the Birkdale clubhouse where they did non-running things
- Popcorn complained about the humidity and then sped up
- The Breckenridge connector left the remaining runners short on miles and Beetlejuice seized control from the floundering new MQ. We ended up running through Kenton Place and down through the greenway to get a few extra
Special shout out to The Count who has been an amazing MQ for Odyssey. Glad you're still running with us buddy!
