REFLECTION:

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.

For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!

Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone?

And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

At church this past Sunday, the preaching centered around how the devil does his best work when we are alone and how we need people in our lives to provide encouragement and accountability as we face our challenges.

It’s not the first time I’ve heard those words “encouragement” and “accountability”.  In fact, they are the two most common words I use when I try to tell someone what F3 provides for me.

Whether it is in fitness, fellowship or faith, I get a healthy dose of encouragement and accountability in different ways from all of you and I am thankful for that every day.  I can only hope that I am returning that favor in some small way.

MOLESKIN:

  • Nice turnout as the weather was just about perfect for workout!
  • We welcomed an FNG today.  He is a pilot for Novant Healthcare and he totes the corporate bigwigs all over the country.  Given the similarity to a certain highly-competent valet, we named him Jeeves.  Welcome Jeeves!!  😛
  • Happy 39th to Clubber!  Only one more year of ‘hate’ for you brother…
  • Saw and experienced some great 2nd F during the circuits.  I absolutely love it when there’s a nice, core group of us together.
  • Ziploc did his best Abrams impression at the end of the workout – may have even outdone him a bit. #HackedUpADemogorgon (sorry for the Stranger Things reference for those that don’t watch)
  • As always, it is an honor to be allowed to lead and a privilege just to be a part of this thing we call F3.
