A Tribute to John Vincent Calipari at The Mighty Oak

Since the end of Super Bowl 50, there has been an odor of sadness around the Isotopian region of F3.  Today, 15 men said you know what, football season is over, I didn't care anyway, lets ball.  Here is their story:

0500

YHC showed up to meet Mr. Burns and Calypso for a Standard run….which was requested by Calypso.  So at 0501 Mr. Burns & I were so worried we ran over to his house.  Turns out, the whole family was pulling a Calypso.  Which was shocking because he did say "Jolly, Im in for Mighty Oak".  I mean i couldn't figure it out…i was perplexed.  Then Mr. Burns said "Lets ring his doorbell and run".  Knowing his M, I kindly suggested we audible that plan and just run.  I HOPE YOU ARE DOING WELL CALYPSO!!!

It was absolutly perfect.  even made the layup at the end.

Split up into groups and do up and down three times each

If you have a Dropped ball = 5 burpees

Each team gets 5 reps finish with a layup

Miss the layup 5 merkins

there were alot of merkins and burpees.

The line up of all line ups came for one last one infront of the Pax.  I think Limburger & Elmers and Caboose?  Anyway they failed dramatically and we all did 10 burpees.

Next was games of Knockout where Caboose got hot and took out the competition.  Until the last one, cant remember who won that one, sound off below.

Pax low fluttered, squatted, al gored and merkind while waiting.

Thanks to the Pax for embracing something different.  I figured with the Super Bowl over, the college basketball team about a month away from march madness and my overall fatigue from typical workouts Monday and Tuesday, it was time for something different.

I enjoyed seeing some of you relive your old high school days (Limburger, Caboose)

and I enjoyed seeing some of you shoot for the first time ever (Swede, Mr. Burns) 😉

Great to see Le Force run by looking forward to seeing you out doing some extra log presses.

We are going tubing 2/20 and a group is coming together to shadow the Welcome Party for the GRC on 2/19.

Thank to you guys for coming out on a blistery cold day.  23 degrees is not comfortable but the energy from the Pax made it fine…for 45min.

Ditka, thanks for your leadership in starting this AO and for letting me have a go at the Q and as always thanks to Black Eyed Pea for sharing F3 with me.  3 years ago I was praying for something like this and nobody knew it.  Somebody is praying for it now, don't be afraid to be the guy to share it.

Argh!
