Father Anthony (FNG-1) greeted the PAX warmly shortly before launch time. Father is visiting the U.S. from Ghana and is spending time at St Mark’s Church through a medical mission connection. Recently nicknamed “Abba”, Father Anthony joined us for the workout even while fully cloaked in his black liturgical vestment. He eagerly took photos and videos of the PAX while trying his best to perform modified exercises along the way. This might be a first to have a priest doing windmills and SSH’s in his formal clergy attire. Mad respect for this brother!
PAX did plenty of block work including heavy doses of Merkins throughout the workout with a bit of mobility mixed in. We hit the school wall for People’s Chair, praying mantis, and calf raises.
Amen was quite gassy as normal and we learned compression shorts amplifies the noises released from his rear.
It was truly an awesome morning with a great and unique mix of PAX that don’t often get to the same workouts together.
JB reminded us to lift up Crab Legs and Fescue, both of whom have lost spouses. A reminder to all of us to reach out with words of encouragement to those who might be struggling.
prayers offered up for our country and our leaders as we enter an important election season. Prayers lifted for peace around the world.
come out to Cauldron this Friday for Blackbeard’s anniversary Q which marks the milestone of when he was injured. Glad to see your full recovery BB! No heavy tire flipping at Cauldron please. 🙂

More impressive about Father Anthony, nickname ABBa, is his age. The guy is 64. That is so impressive. Especially combined with workout out in this Priest robe.
