Actually pretty low mortality run

Weird, mushy, kumbaya alert… I was out for 2.5 weeks for a family trip. I chose to (nearly) completely disconnect in order to focus on the family. No regrets on that decision and had the best time with my family. But holy moly did it highlight how much the men of Isotope enrich my life. Similarly, I’ve made a ton of physical and mental progress since January and it’s mostly due to my dudes challenging me, inspiring me, and holding me accountable. Thanks dudes.

END mushy

Glorious morning today! Slingshot and MH extra credit for the core standard. The route took some teamwork this morning in order to stay safe. We ended up with a low mortality rate (zero) on a high mortality route, which is always good. Biz park -> Mt Holly-Huntersville -> Old Statesville -> new greenway all the way back.

  • Heely, Kumquat, Omar, MH, Sac, Cubicle leading the pack and picking up sixes. Strong work.
  • Pit stop woke up and it was glorious.
  • Stray continues to bounce back with some extra push by AMPM. Awesome stuff.
  • Chilly, Cobra, Enron, Swiftie, Slingshot great conversation about various things including short term memory but I don’t remember what else.

Our thoughts are with Cherrybomb as he endures the best weather Florida has ever had and is experiencing zero Isotope FOMO.

Serious prayers up for Ich and his family. Go read his “No one fights alone in F3” bb.
