YHC had seen The Sword lacked Qs and threw himself on the calendar for the first Monday of the month. Unbeknownst to the Q, his 2.0 would get in the Halloween spirit a bit too much and give him the night from Hell. With about 4ish hours of sleep in tow, YHC got out of bed and headed to the wrong side of the tracks to meet the Standard.
0500 – ~3 miles with Enron, Mr. Holland, and Slingshot
0530 – Joined by 9 more pax and we took off. Mr. Holland decided bootcamps aren't really his thing and ran off to do 5 more miles.
We did the serpentine with some butt kickers, high knees, and Karioca (sp?). Grabbed some blocks, disclaimer given, warmup commenced.

- YHC wanted to do a core-heavy workout and remembered an especially difficult Bagboy Q at Arnies Army that was all about core. Pretty sure I did it totally wrong and Bagboy definitely made it make more sense. As 9 Lives was quick to remind me multiple times – I lost some pax out there.
- Amen is sueing 9 Live for plagiarism. Really stole his thunder.
- At one point during the workout, a very suspicious vehicle was driving slowly by our cars. Stopped. Parked. Backed out. Drove by slowly. Starting to do a 3-point turn for some reason. And then idled for a bit. The pax were not amused (especially since a car break-in had occured at LFC a couple months back). Frogger let his displeasure be known by shouting at the driver to get out of here. The driver obliged quickly – he did not want any piece of Frogger (few do).
- Overheard that someone couldn't stop staring at Mona Lisa's big butt last night. Guess you had to S2K!
- Popcorn puts his kids on skateboards to teach them a lesson. Popcorn received his lesson in gravity last night it seems.
- Mr. Holland gets credit for joining the standard and COT. Please file complaints to HR.
