THE THANG
Everyone takes a paper lunch sack and writes their name on it.
Spread throughout the AO, there are 12 stations, each with an exercise and a number of reps.
Each station has a bag with poker chips of a pre-selected color/value loosely based on the difficulty of getting to and/or completing the exercise.
Each PAX gets to choose where to go and what to do to accumulate chips. Go as easy or as hard as you choose.
One caveat, you have to return to your bag at the launch pad to deposit your chip after each station before moving on to the next round.
Stations included:
1 lap run around the track
1 lap walk around the track
Run to the soccer field and back (wait, what? There’s a soccer field?)
Dips (20)
World War 1 sit-ups (10)
Bear Crawls up the parking lot
Lunge Walk up the parking lot

- WOW! Solid efforts out of people on this one! I love seeing what people use to motivate themselves: whether it’s competing with others, setting a personal goal, calculating the most efficient path, whatever. The sweat was pouring everywhere!
- Many thanks to my 2.0, Meh, for helping create the layout for this one – and for EH’ing Spark who, in turn, EH’d her dad, LightBulb to make the trek to Mustang
- This week marked the 8-year point in my F3 life. Anyone that knows me knows how much F3 has meant in my life and also how much of a role it may have played in the fact that I am still alive. I may not be in the shape that I should be in but I am still in better shape than I would be without you fellas and I thank you! Please don’t ever give up on me.
- As always, it is a honor to “lead” and a privilege just to be a part of this thing we call F3.
Thanks!
