YHC arrived early (I.e. on time) to find Frogger outside his car with several empty Michelin Ultra cans strewn about. Suspicious, especially ina HS parking lot.
I had just enough time to glance at the map before the other cars began to appear. The decision to start with an opening warm up snagged a couple of the later arrivals. Won't name names but maybe I started a bad trend a couple of weeks ago.

Found Neck Road and a few cars and a beautifully paced MT Olive Church parking lot – LBCs 10x so as not to foul up the new blacktop.
then it got strange, we turned on the road before the boat access (Johnson Davis) and headed down the hill after some Diamond Merkins 10x. I'm sure I said something about turning around to go back up, it may have been whispered with headlamps turned off so a certain amphibian would keep going unaware of the audible. Or he may have been talking and didn't hear it. We will never know.
