Pax in attendance but not registered: Whirley
Start time: 5:31
Warm-up:
- SSH x15
- IST x15
- Merican x10
- Calf stretches
- Peter Parker x15
- Various hamstring stretches
The Thang:
Mosey to DUMC, grab a paver and circle up. Disclaimer given that we would be doing various exercises to exhaustion, surprisingly only mild resistance received.
For each round, 1 pax ran a lap around the parking lot stopping halfway around for 10 burpees. Meanwhile, the remaining pax performed AMRAP of various exercises. Continue until all Pax have completed a lap. To the best of my memory, exercises were as follows:
- Round 1
- Mericans
- Curls
- Squats
- Shoulder press
- Bent-over row
- First break for Mary: WWII sit-ups, Hello Dolly
- Round 2
- Skull crushers
- Plank
- Deadlifts
- Calf raises
- ?? (I was running so I forget what this was)
- Second break for Mary: L/R side crunch, low/high flutter
- Round 3
- Note for round 3, the running pax was allowed to choose the exercise for non-running pax
- WWII sit-ups (Hyster)
- Gladiator plank (Riptide)
- Heals-to-Heaven (Stumpjumper)
- Mason twist (Whirley)
- Creeper combo (Hulka)
- Mericans with right/left/both hands on pavers x7 each
- Mosey back to the green for Mary
Mary:
Given that we did a significant amount of Mary during workout, final mary was abbreviated:
- Rosalita x15
- LBC x30
End time: 6:16
Moleskin:
- Great work by all pax, especially pushing through the final reps of each exercise
- Noticed that at least 3-4X number of pax were completing the Revolt. Worried that bootcamp workouts are an endangered species in TPRoD, but hats off to all the runners in training.
- Hysters father Bill was lifted up as he works through a medical issue
- Thanks for the push this morning men. Continually grateful for the fellowship this group provides.
