  • In honor of my 1 year anniversary, we completed 365 reps (actually far more when Mary is thrown in), thus the odd combination of numbers when calling out cadence, and OYO exercises.
  • Not a lot of Mumble chatter due to sequence of exercises leaving yhc and Pax breathless
  • YHC learned the hard way counting IC after starting with Burpees isn't the best plan, especially when yhc struggles with counting in cadence to start with…
  • YHC needs Q school to tighten up his cadence routine – thanks to Toxic for the on the fly reminder.
  • YHC also needs help with the save function when creating a BB and selecting the correct PAX
  • Great to see Ruffles (couldn't list you above need to get on the website)and Boones Farm coming back strong from injury. Great to have you back!
  • Snake Eyes never disappoints with the crowd pleasing STM even though it smokes you every time.
  • Always nice to see the regulars – Olaf, Tagless, Megaphone, Kumquat, and Jorel they are always pushing themselves and pushing the Pax.
  • Thanks to Ikea sacrificing some drive time to get some strong minutes in. Strong work.
  • Thanks to Calpyso for the audible he didn't know he called.
  • Thanks to Die Hard for letting me stash my phone and not have to carry it today.

*Standard for 2.4 miles- Calypso, Snake-eyes,& Toxic – nice work gents

Prayers for Megaphone, Blackbeard’s daughter & Becky

Thanks to Die Hard and Toxic for the EH 1 year ago today.  I was happy getting my weekly mileage in and going to the gym for my workouts.  Toxic let me know Die Hard was Q’ing for his anniversary and I had to come support him.  I agreed and was surprised to see a large group of men getting together at the ungodly hour of 5:10, at an even more ungodly temperature of 3 degrees outside.  These guys were crazy – I knew I would fit in.  The workout was hard, but I was used to hard workouts.  The difference maker was the mumble chatter, friendship, and the fun everyone was having despite the elements.  I was sold.  The next week I left the gym, and never looked back.  I moved all my workouts outside in the gloom with this great group of men.  I have met some great people and seen even greater feats of leadership and support for each other, our communities, and even communities hours away; all demonstrating Iron Sharpens Iron.  Aye!
