The Annual Army/Navy Beatdown kicks off at 630am tomorrow for 90 minutes of hard-hitting “fun”. Each Service "gets the ball" for a 20 minute quarter at a time. Two on two: Das Boot, Hacker, Knuckle Dragger, and MindFreak face off to see who can make the other cry. Of course, misery loves company. So you all get to cry with us.
How do you score a contest like this, though? Hmm. Got it! We'll simply have to leave it up to the Pax to judge the winner! At COT, we’ll rely on you all to divide yourselves into camps of relative agony – vote with your feet to see whether Navy smacks Army yet again, or if Army gets to recover some dignity.
The losing service will then provide some entertainment with a painful little coda to cap the morning. Just the two “losers” with everyone else watching. (What could it be? You’ll have to come to see.)
We finish at 8, and coffee is provided for all who can still raise their arms enough to drink it. (Yes, if we’ve got to bribe you to overcome your fears of a 4-Q mosh pit to get you to The Game, we’ll do it …)
