9, including one FNG, posted to ELHS Mustang for this months #TheMurph installment. I don't know what it is about #TheMurph but it seems we have had more FNG's post to it than any other workout. The FNG here is Mike Jones. When we asked Mike to get in the middle and tell us about himself. he jumped right in as if he had his full resume or autobiography of the life and times of Mike Jones ready to go. Mike is originally from Waynesville NC and works for Ferguson on Sunset. Anyone that knows plumbing knows that Ferguson is one of the go-to places for plumbing parts (and now we know HVAC and lighting). And everyone knows that anyone in the plumbing industry knows how to lay the pipe (calling @Minime). We had several naming suggestions and with YHC's body shutting down due to the cold YHC couldn't think straight. Luckily, a couple of suggestions stuck out. Garth (Waynes world reference) and Mario (or maybe Luigi) for the plumbing. Once YHC thawed out I thought of another, Marty (Jones) From the Counting Crows "Mr. Jones"…You know how they both …"wanted to big big stars"…. But anyway. Mario is still better. Welcome Mario! Mario was EH'd by Mater.
We ran 1 mile
and since we got a late start 1:05 second rounds of 5 pull-ups, 10 'mericans, 15 air squats and ran 1 more mile.
Moleskin
Mater – T-Claps on making it through 100 pull-ups without modifying for the first time. That's huge
T-Claps to Hefty for going with the 20 lb vest.
