1 and then 2 and then 8…cutting it close to launch time.. arrived in what started as a misting rain for the April 2017 edition of #TheMurph. 2 PAX dressed like it was below freezing. The entire PAX of Cantore knew today would be wet, and this did not stop anyone. Several awesome things happened today, and none of them ended with "That's what she said" although there was plenty of that. But this BB if PG-13, so I will not discuss that here.
0531 and we are off to a little late start. That sort of thing happens when 6 PAX come in HOT at 0530.
We did our thing. We did what we do and we are off…
And Holy Crap, Abrams sprints off for the first mile. Abrams recently got braces and said he lost 7 lbs on the braces diet. Apparently losing 7 lbs results in faster running…cause he just PR'd the 1 mile run (6:16 pace) T-Claps bro!
We ran the mile, completed 100 pull-ups, 200 'Mericans, 300 squats, then another mile. Some did 5-10-15, some did 10-20-30 or a combination thereof. Some, not listed in the backblast fartsacked and had none. (and this little piggy went wee-wee-wee…all the way home)
- Hefty posts in his ruck sack filled with Chicken Minis. 30 lb pack for the Murph is no joke. Not sure if being lighter helps of hurts there, but either way T-Claps! The good thing is, you can munch on the chicken minis and technically you still have 30 lbs of added weight assuming you don't have to drop a deuce in the middle of the workout.
- Spork sports the 20 lb weight vest. YHC had planned to post in the vest but the back wasn't feeling it this morning. This Sporks first or second Murph and is already donning a 20 lb vest. T-Claps!
- Diesel T-Claps on the new job, on the downside you might not be flipping as many tires…at your job.
- Ziploc, C# and Bertha were rather chatty cathy's today.
