Other PAX (not on web): Monty Python, Lighthouse & Stash
I had to do a double-take when I pulled in and saw a huge crew looming in the darkness. It was a great turnout for Odyssey, 15 runners strong. A quick deliberation about routes and after some concerns about a flooded greenway the SpaceX route was chosen. It's a simple out-and-back to Ramsey Park so off we went. Cousin Eddie and Tugs sprinted away with glee, knowing the route and not needing the slower Q's directions. We made it to the park and several brave PAX kept running, even down the boatslip to feel the cool, non-radioactive waters of Lake Norman. On the way back The Count gave Omar all the deets about the Tablerock Ultra (including Porta Potty locations) which sounds awesome yet brutal at the same time. We finished up, raised up some PAX, celebrated the incoming new arrival for Cousin Eddie and enjoyed coffee (iced again because it's still somehow muggy in Nov.)
