Well, I made some audacious threats of beating down the Pax as a 60 year old man only to see that the average age was about 58, with a 52 year old war baby.
We stayed in range given one of us is healing from some knee issues (HIPPA rules won’t allow me to reference Callahan’s knee issues).
I drew some groans with the “Merkin climb” on the steps of Town Hall, with increasing and decreasing OYO reps as we performed climbing Inclined Merkins.
The Cain Center provided a place for step ups and some early Mary, with my favorite LBC extensions. We did some wall work with “park the plane,” praying Mantis’, and Balls to the wall.
From there we ambled around the old Mill area which brought ooohs and aaaahs from Jersey Boy as he has never ventured there during a workout.
We proceeded to the Fire station and paid our respects to the 4 fallen members of law enforcement this past week. We also prayed for their families and those men and women who provided medical support.
We wound our way back to the start for some extended Mary. Aussie definitely took a beating while the other studs cruised through the pain.
There was great coffeteria participation. I must say, a fellow pax, upon hearing the DD staff call off the name of a foo foo drink, said, ”those must be for the young girls behind us.”
They weren’t.
Good to see Water wings show as they had 8 swimmers post.
Great to see Aussie again. Post some more!
Great tribute to the fallen law enforcement officers 🙏🏼
Fantastic workout, brother! Thanks for your leadership!
