Well here I am again…trying to inject some fun and knowledge into the early morning gloom. Today's focus was on movies and more specifically, Best Picture Oscar Winners. YHC and 16 other PAX – including an FNG (Sherrit) decided to test our movie trivia knowledge and get smoked in the process. 3 of us met for the Standard (2.0 mi). As expected, the mumblechatter out of the small peanut gallery was funny and on point

THE THANG
Instructions were simplified, because I continue to learn my lesson regarding math and mornings – YHC calls out a movie title, PAX guess what year it won Best Picture – simple enough, right?
Following the right (or mostly wrong) answer, PAX would execute the following
- Burpees x 10 (right answer) / 15 (wrong)
- LBC's x 15 IC (right answer) / 20 (wrong)
- Mericans x 10 IC (right answer) / 15 (wrong)
- Jump Squats x 15 IC (right answer) / 20 (wrong)
- Run 10 laps across BBall court (down and back to start = 1)
- Front Lean and Rest when complete
For each round of questions, we drop laps by one. We ended on up doing 4 rounds or questions, exercises and laps. I am not going to recap the right/wrong answers here as YHC was picking up some mixed signals from the PAX today, maybe next time
MOLESKIN
First, I am working on a more consice trivia game that all PAX would enjoy – introducing some meaningless FACTs hopefull serves as a distraction to the beat down. It is time to switch up a bit so lookout for a better version when I return in March
Second, thanks Mini Me for keeping the Q honest on the mericans – I was honestly smoked (i should have called BS on myself) and I prefer not to do half assed pushups, so I felt guilty and just did the 2 mericans I missed
Third, Black Beard and Amen I like the dont quit approach, it was strong work out there for both of you. And welcome Sherrit (Toxic's friend) to the community – hope you found this fun and hard and will see you out there again soon
Fourth, I was hoping movie trivia was the PAX sweet spot, for some but not all. Next time we will go with sports – it pays to be a winner
Finally, I really want to thank The Force and the PAX for indulging me on the trivia stuff – hopefully everyone got their money's worth this AM (if not see Jolly Roger for a refund of the $60 we all owe him) and I look forward to seeing most of you out and about at other AO's
