BALLER-FEST

8 men and one young adult flocked to the Quarry Hood to relive former playground glory and to create new memories of kickball feats that will forever be remembered in the annals of F3 Mtn. Island Lake.  The crisp, fall morning was the perfect backdrop.

Warmorama:

  • SSH x 25; TS x 10; WM x 15
  • Two laps around parking lot

The Thang:

  • ??Two teams of 4 players were chosen by captains and the competition began.
  • Two outs for each team
  • Each out resulted in 5 burpees by the kicking team.
  • Each run scored resulted in 10 mericans by the opposing team.

Moleskin:

  • ???Shirts or Skins?
  • Interesting how quickly a non-contact sport can turn into contact.
  • As the youngest baller, Vic-20 had a couple of nice outs, however his pitching was a little shaky.
  • Kick ball brings out some competitive energy that we don't always see during our regular workouts.
  • After switching up teams for the final round, Double-Double recorded an impressive out against his own offspring, Vic-20.
  • So many memorable plays, so little time and space to record them.
  • Fun morning with no visible injuries.  It was an honor to lead so many future HOF Kick Ball inductees.
