Bars, Balls and Burpees

Six Davidson Pax posted for the AES – 5:15 launch from the Village Green every Tuesday!

After a quick warmup, we ran to the pullup bars behind Baker. Heres what we did:

10 pullups, 10 dips

Run to concrete balls in front of Baker

10 incline merkis IC, 10 decline merkins IC

Run to Triangle

12 Alternating Step ups

Run to concrete in front of tenris courts

10 Burpees

2 Mary Exercises

Run back to Bars

We completed this cycle four times with the final set of burpees and Mary done on the way back to the Green due to time constraints.

Moleskin:

We were running for the entire workout with very little stopping time, except to do exercises at the Bars, Balls, Triangle and Burpees.

Das Boot is done riding his bike until May of next year! He hates to run but is actually pretty good at it due to his high level of cardio fitness and leg strength from the cycling. Duvall you might make him a runner after all!

Speaking of running, Hulka wanted to sprint the last 250 yards so I ran with him until the very end when his 39 YO legs were just too fast for this hefty old Q to keep up with- Larry Birded me at the end!

Genghis is most adept at mixing the first and second Fs during a workout – not sure how he does it when the heart rate is up but you can always count on interesting conversation and witty retorts when he is in attendance.

Riptide hates running but true to form I saw him doing extra pushups!  Hooker kept time and had a phone in case we had any emergencies. Plus he is a trained medical professional so we all felt safe whether we should have or not!
