The varsity team arrived at 0600 for a 5 mile warm-up run. Luckily a port-o john was on route for a needy Pax.

 

After the JV team arrived we began the workout. See below:

WARM UP

 

THE THANG

-Mosey to the rock pile and bring the block back to the far end of the parking lot. Exercises were done on each end (5 more style) followed by a mosey to the other end of the parking lot. Exercises included:

  *Curls

  *Plank Jacks

  *Skull Crushers

  *Hand Release Merkins

  *Block Squats

  *Burpees

  *Blurpees (with block)

  *Burpees

  *Bent Rows

  *Dips

  *Overhead Press with Block

  *WW1s

  MOLESKIN

-Lot of hills on the standard. Wore me out.

-Zippy learns the importance of being on time as we quickly left the AO this morning.

-PAX didn’t like getting their shoes wet while getting blocks.

-Many had to lose extras layers as we warmed up quickly with the running.

-Spork requests an intermission to go to a yard sale. Is this FIA?

-First round of burpees only included 10 and didn’t impress the Q.  Q made the pax do a second round telling them there was a minimum that was not met last round. No one seemed to pick up what I was saying and did 10 again during the second round, thus a third round was done which met the minimum. Finally!

-Five more gave the pax the choice to do exercises or run and they surprising chose to run more than the alternative.

PSA-Flag football game scheduled for this Sunday around 4:45 at ELHS practice field. Bring M and 2.0s. It will be a fun afternoon. Get on slack and HC so we can get an idea how many to expect. See you there.
