FNG: Nextel

Possum put out the distress call so Airstream jumped in to Q Bedrock. Great temp greeted the PAX this morning at BRP. Airstream arrived early to carry his heavy and insensitive Washington Redskins battling rope to the field along with his customary red bands for back work. PAX arrived ready to go, Jersey Boy donned his ace wrap and knee sleeve and after 10 minutes he was ready to roll!! Good to see JB out there even after a knee injury and an upcoming MRI and Doctors appointment.

This is when it starts getting complicated since Airstream has no real recollection of what he does. 
Warm- up jog, circle up exercises, jog, back-pedal runs uphill, picnic table work, jog to hill for Thug mandated hill work. Hill runs, burpees, LBC’s, squats, CDD. Newto-Meter attacked the hills like his hair was on fire! Being Roadies son hair is something he does have. Run to park entrance and then mosey to track. Gather at bottom of steps and then double time up, Scrap excels at this, someone said his foot is smaller then the step so it makes it easier going up and down……curb mericans and a leg exercise at top, we did that twice, I think. Jog to battling ropes and red bands. Circle up for band work; horizontal pull apart, diagonal pulls, low rows and bicep curls, lots of reps and lots of groaning! Move to battling ropes, we all took a turn on the rope while everyone else did some sort of leg exercise. Finished with core, mobility and hip work. 
Recover Recover

Just shy of 3 miles, good interval work, hills and back work. Always good to see  some of the usuals, Thug, JB, Beave and Shadow at Bedrock. Understand Scrappy is keeping the country safe so his schedule doesn’t allow it as often as he would like, Nextel is becoming a weekend regular which is good to see. Newton just graduated from NC State, Go Pack, so hopefully his schedule will allow continued participation. We did miss Possum and his 1000 mericans, his dog obstacle course and his middle school humor hopefully he will be back next week. 
Prayers for PAX, the unborn and elderly and the continued strength to be the light that is needed in our world. 
Everyone was able to make it to Willow Wood for coffee and conversation!
