I would have liked to name this one "Enhancing Our Meat," but thought better of it.  

Mater texts me last night to ask me not to put running in the workout, so I said, "how about bringing some Kettle bells then."  

This is how it went:

Warmup

right over left, left over right, down the middle

windmills 10 IC

Imperial storm troopers 10 IC

SSH 20 IC

 

Beatdown

We did one of the kettlebell exercises (10 OYO)  listed below (but likely not in that order) every 2 parking spaces.  We kettle Bear Crawled between each space

  • Around the world
  • Thrusters
  • Overhead press right arm
  • Overhead press left arm
  • Bob and Weave
  • Lunge
  • Lawnmower pull right
  • Lawnmower pull left
  • Sit and press

 

Carried kettlebells to playground for "Kettlebell murph"

10 rounds of 

  • 5 pullups (with or without your kettlebell)
  • 10 merkins
  • 15 kettlebell squats
  • walk around playground carrying kettlebell

Mater is still having hip and back pain and is being told by one medical professional to rest, while another is telling him to do more.
