Block Work at Fallout

Event Date

AO

Arrived to the AO to find Cobra already on site. About 2 minutes before launch, Peart Plus rolled in from his standard.

Warm Up:

It became apparent that it would just be the three of us, so we took off for a warm up mosey around the parking lot with:

Missy, Karaoke, butt kickers, high knees, reverse run, and back to regular.

Circled up for some additional warm up exercises:

SSH’s, Long Snappers, Toy Soldiers, Arm Circles (forward and back).

Workout:

After the official warm up we headed to the track for a lap, and then each grabbed a block, bringing it to the track. At each corner of the track we stopped and did 3 sets of exercises, picked up the block to the next corner, 3 more sets, and is in until we made one full lap. I can’t remember the exact circuit, but at each stop we did some combination of three out of the following:

block burpees, incline block mericans, decline block mericans, squat with block, lunges with block, curls, overhead press, skull crushers.

We still had some time to spare after our block trip around the track, so we made our way to the picnic tables and did a round of elevens (10:1, 9:2, 8:3 until 1:10), switching between mericans and dips. This one was a struggle and I was definitely feeling the lack of boot camps in my life!

Mary:

wrapped up with each pax calling out a Mary move till the clock read 0615.

Moleskin:

First time meeting both Cobra and Peart Plus, and there was some good 2nd F along the way around the track, hearing each others back story on how we found out about F3, etc. Also found out that we all lived in the same neighborhood at some point.

Cobra’s F3 name has a great backstory, so if you have a chance to workout with him, ask about it!

Thanks for the opportunity to lead.
