Blocking time off on a Tuesday


17 Men came to overcome and conquer the blocks, little did they know they would cover ground too!

 

Traveling Warm-up around track

1st Corner – SSH x 20

2nd Corner – Windmill x 10

3rd Corner – Merkins x 10

 

Partner up…

Partner 1  – 5 shoulder touch merkins and 10 LBC’s run and catch partner 2

Partner 2 – farmer carry until partner catches you

1 Burpee for both partners and then flip flop –  Around the entire track and add a burpee at every switch

 

Grab blocks and Zamperini

 

Block press then jump block  – 10

Block Merkins – x 5

 

Block press then jump block x 5

Block Merkins x5

 

To the out-post we go….

Partner 1 – curls ARMP

Partner 2  – crawl bear up incline  – flip flop

Partner 1  – shoulder presses

Partner 2  – crawl bear up incline – flip flop

To the Bradley baseball field…girls

Fence jumps while using your block as a step up  – 5 times

 

Block curls over fence

 

To the never ending hill

Wheel Barrel – at top 1 burpee – flip flop 2 burpees

 

Block press then jump block  – 5

Oh yeah, I suppose there are no “corners” on an oval track…… what would you call it then…. Stray and his East Lincoln education…

I missed most of the mumble chatter since we were spread out. Note to Q’s, my own self-reflection, good to make your way back or position yourself in the middle of the Pax when calling out exercises.

Multiple comments were made on the fence jumping and noticed that the block helps to clear the fence but do you put your hands on the top and leap over it, do you throw hands and feet on top then jump or do you cautiously put hands and knees and throw yourself over…..seen it all ways

The never ending hill never gets old, we should use that more!
