Blocky-Go-Round

10 men showed at the Deck for a recreation of my Burpee-Go-Round WO except with blocks and a Deck. Hippie showed and then hurt his back stretching his hamstrings before the work-out even started. He made the right choice in heading home. It sucks getting old….

Notables:

  • The YHC thought Hippie was joking when he said he hurt his back stretching and talking. I cannot be blamed for this. I am sure though that Scrappy had something to do with it..
  • The YHC has been listening to the naysayers related to the burpee count in my work-outs. The YHC decided to be true to his self  this morning
  • Some day we need to just join the Gladiator work-out to see what Mr. Gladiator does.
  • Welcome Banana Peel and Scud who ventured over to Mad Scientist for the first time. Strong work!
  • Good to see Scrappy finally show for a Firestone Q. Hard work as usual.
  • The count was complaining that his legs were giving out.
  • Not a ton of mumble chatter this morning.
  • Master Po brought up a good point. What did we do before blocks?  Ever since the blocks showed, it seems as if there has not been a work out without them.
  • Don't forget The Bear coming up June 3rd. They say if you can do an F3 work-out, you can do The Bear (be careful taking that statement at face value).

Thank you Le Bon for allowing me to Q my favorite AO in NoCo.
