Bueller? Bueller?

8 men made it out of the fart sack even though there was no Q on the calendar.  We took mini-tour of the AO and got a little stronger on the way.  FNG1 is Cool Aid (moved to Tree Tops recently from Skybrook) and FNG2 is Dr Jones (who has been with us for a while and needs to get signed up!).  YHC woke up at 4:58 without an alarm set, it was a sign to get my a** out of bed and take the Q.  It went like this:

Reflection (massive Q fail here) 1 Peter 4:12-19 (actual)  12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. 14 If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. 15 If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. 16 However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. 17 For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 And, “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” 19 So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

Reflection 2 Corinthians 1:3-8 (intended) 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 5 For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. 6 If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7 And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort

  • Nice to have two new faces in Bootlegger & Cool Aid as well as seeing Boone for the first time in a while – the man has lost a ton of weight by running, well done sir
  • Lots of other good chatter, show to know.
  • Q fail on the reflection as I read the wrong verses.  I was trying to speak of supporting those in times of need and in crisis, instead it came off as much more fire and brimstone like we're all going to hell as Thrift Shop eloquently put it.

Pleasure to lead. Namaste, Bertha
