Bulls on Parade


Twenty-four successfully responded to their alarm clocks (above plus Tin Man, Thorpe, Seabiscuit (the dude, not the workout!), Lady Bear, Hurl) to post inside the gates of The Peoples Republic of Davidson.  Here's what we did…

Warmup on the Green – Standard stuff – SSH, IST, Windmills, Merkins, and light stretching then head to Town Hall.

Town Hall – Laps of…

  • Five burpees in front of Town Hall
  • Crawl bear up the stairs
  • Ten jump squats
  • Run around Town Hall to the Fire Station entrance
  • Fifteen WWII situps
  • Run up Jackson Street to the corner with Main St (that hill is steeper and longer than it looks)
  • Twenty merkins
  • Repeat X5 
  • While waiting for the last few to complete – SSH x ~45 IC
  • Move out to Lake Norman Christian (kudos to Ranger for the shortcut through Stowe's Corner – well played)

Lake Norman Christian

  • Divide roughly in half
    • Group 1 – LBC x 15 IC, Heels to Heaven x 15 IC, Mason Twist x 10 IC, Cross LBC x 15 IC
    • Group 2 – Alternate between BTTW and People's Chair switching when Group 1 changes exercises
    • Switch and repeat.
    • I have to call out Slowhand, my Q2 for the workout,  Dude – what was up with the cadence for Group 2?!  I need to check with Crude and make sure Slowhand actually graduated from Q School.  Perhaps he was a social promotion.
  • Run down the hill to the lower field for a decent series of Tater Rolls (Devo sorta requested this and then wasn't there!)
  • Run back to the Green

Town Green

  • We had about three minutes left so we went through various plank positions (standard, right arm up, standard, left arm up, standard, low) to get through the rest of the time.

COT – No specific prayer requests.  Hooker once again advertised for his next Pain Lab session – brother is always promoting!

Thanks to all that showed this morning.  F3 is a special part of my life now and I especially enjoy chanced to direct the workout for this fine group of men!
