Three of the finest pax is The Isotope showed up on a cold, wet morning yearning for some pain. Also two canines present.
Mosey down the nature trail to top parking lot for standard warmarama. Plus ten burpees. We realized quickly we were in for a cold, icy morning.
Mosey to lower parking lot in search of dry payment. Settled on the hill between the track and lower parking lot for our first ladder.
1st ladder – 20×2 Dry dock/squat starting at the bottom of the hill. There was some ice at the bottom of the hill so we stayed in the grass some. The canines won the ladder and had the most fun.
Mosey across the track to the stars where we attempted calf raises. Too icy, even when holding onto the rail.
Mosey to upper fields for our 2nd ladder.
2nd ladder – 10×1 Burpee/lunge (1 each leg) with 100 yard run (in the snow) in between. This was hard! Even the dogs were tired of this one.
Recover, recover.
I had a blast leading at such a fine AO with an even better group of men!
T Claps to Jersey! During the COT, Jersey shared that he had lunch with an old friend who has fallen on hard times. Jersey just had lunch and listed to the man for three hours (this is hard for us talkers) and it seemed to really help. This is a great reminder to reach out to your friends and make sure they are ok. A short or long conversation can go a long way. This also reminded why I love hanging out with Jersey. The man is an absolute HIM!
It was great getting to know BoarHog and his dog Harley! BoarHog had some great stories and hopefully we can do it again soon!
Until Monday,
Enron
