Football: starting in the endzone – do a burpee at every yardline. YHC intended to do only 10 burpees and stop at every 5-yard line, but because YHC can’t do math, we only went to the 50.
Kickball: kicker stationary ball – everyone else in the outfield – kick the ball wherever and try to run the bases. If kicker makes it to 2nd base (yes, the actual base) before getting hit, fielders do 5 burpees – if not, then the kicker does 5 burpees. It was tough to see, especially with The Force always finding ways to creatively win, but still within the “rules” – he was up first and bunted, so we were barely able to notice he had taken his turn as he was rounding first and making it safely to 2nd. Gambini was the self-declared “fastest man alive” as he decided he wanted to go to third base, but as usual, he was stopped before making it home (or so I recall).
Foursquare: regular rules – if you fault – do 10 Mericans. We had 5 players, so the one man out planked after doing the 10 Mericans. Great fun was had by all!
Basketball – Mary:
Start at freethrow line – Everyone does an exercise until shooter makes a shot in two different goals. This was tough as almost all of the basketball goals are tilted.
We moseyed to the other playground behind Barnette for 10 pull-ups and then did another round of Basketball Mary. I would have thought it would have been easier with the shorter goals, but Frogger managed to lose a ball under the trailer. Fortunately, he went and found the ball so my kids wouldn’t be made at me.
Moleskin:
Gambini continues with his empty campaign promises of getting lattice work under the trailers, but I believe Young Gambini’s run at student counsel to provide netting under the trailers is the type of candidate who we can all trust and will fulfill her campaign promises and I will certainly make my son (“Bronico”) vote for.
I don’t know if the Pax would agree, but I thought the workout was fun and tough at the same time. Mona Lisa posted for a “Flat Rat” and helped me set out the kickballs on the field. He passed us as we were doing basketball Mary, but stayed around for COT. Looks like he is getting faster!
It was great meeting StubHub – who Jedi EH’d. He did a great job and sufficiently complained about his shoes getting dirty on the ball field during kickball. Hope to see him post some more.
Despite having an injured foot and saying that he was having a tough time running, props to Frogger for pushing through and doing all of the workout while looking strong!
Special thanks to The Force for reposting my #pb because of F3 Isotope’s conspiracy against me and shadow-banning. I hoped he would show because I wore my “The Force Style” shirt (aka sleeve-less).
After COT and prayers for the families of F3 and The Force’s mom, a random car pulled up and a man asked if “John O’Neil” (Hippie) was there. We said “No,” and Gambini said, “But Eric Rowell is here!” The driver quickly sped away without saying anything – he must have heard of Gambini’s “promises” of lattice work under the trailers. Despite all of that, I’m impressed by Gambini and Hippie for their dedication to the town and being willing to put themselves out there.
Until next time…
