While Die Hard is away 9 pax will play.
Surpise guests included Black Eyed Pea & Heely. It had been sometime since I had the opportunity to run with either of these HIM. I am grateful they chose to run at fartlek and hope they will continue to check in with us more and more in the future.
As the rest of the pax began to arrive there was eager anticipation of what the route for the day would be. With so many route options to choose from, YHC decided on an Arnold Palmer style run (half pavement/half cart path) with a 10K course that included running along several holes at the world famous Birkdale Golf Club. While we did not see any gophers we did see the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog. Lacking the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch we chose not to engage but promptly ran away.
In all it was a nice run w/ good people on a cool but humid morning.
