- Each man grabbed the lead during the beatdown–Shadow on the Horseshoe and Yosemite on the Final Ascent.
- Shadow informed me that he has lived in the area for a long time. Been coming to F3 for about a year. He said he ran through Sharknado at Monteith Park about 10 years ago and saw our group getting after it. Nice to have this stud as part of the PAX now. Super strong. T-Claps for some EC running before the beatdown.
- Yosemite might have the best stache north of Charlotte. Of all the PAX in the TOPE, he represents his moniker the best. Just don’t wear cowboy boots and hat to a workout.
- With a lighter PAX group, we really got to know each other this AM – where we lived and where we worked which was refreshing to go deeper with these men and get to know them better.
- The Word of the DAY, since we had 3 PAX for a “Partner” workout was simple: We are sometimes not in control. When things don’t go our way, we have a choice to make. Trust God, Take a step back, Adapt, Have the Courage to Change, and ultimately succeed.
- The Call of the Wild as mentioned in this post is the call in every man’s heart to break free from the everyday boredom and monotony that slowly makes us feel comfortable and secure. We must resist this. We are men. We fight. We challenge ourselves to do hard things because it feeds our soul and it is how God created us. The Call of the Wild is constantly calling on us. We can only dampen this sound, but if we listen closely, it is always there calling us and luring us to plunge boldly into the gloom. I’m thankful for BlackBeard’s recent EH that allowed me to once again hear this sound.
