Over the last several months – Jersey Boy has begged, pleaded, cajoled and bribed folks to attend and Q at Bailey Road Park. One bribe included passing out official F3 Decks of Pain. I figured – I'd break in my deck from JB with this Q.
With the best intentions – I was up early and ready to go – somehow I still wound up heading into BRP on two wheels (and no, I wasn't on my bike). Tiny and Cherry Bomb were ready to go – and we were soon joined by Hawkeye.
After a joggy jog to the launch pad – we warmed up with the usual suspects and cut into the deck.
We used the walkway for the stationary exercises, the field for the mobile exercises – and threw in a run to the stairs to break things up every once in a while.
We did not get through all 52 cards – but made it through 40+.
The Deck did not dissapoint – and it certainly provides a good workout.
As if the deck knew what we needed – we finished up with the Burpee card and the longest of the Sprint cards. A 1-2 gut punch to make sure we were ready for the respite that comes from MARY.
4 Aces Moleskine:
– Great to have Tiny and Hawkeye out to BRP. These are two of my Sweatshop homeboys. I was a regular at Sweatshop for a long time – but lately my schedule – or more accurately, my boys' schedules make the evening a tough post. Always glad to catch up with the Sweatshop. Tiny and Hawkeye both brought it. Thanks for the push.
– I was at Cherry Bomb's first workout at the General – which doesn't seem all that long ago. He's certainly jumped into F3 with both feet. He posts a ton and Q's a lot. Keep it up. Glad to have you amongst us.
– Always an honor and a joy to be among you men. Thanks for the opportunity to lead.
Peace,
Holiday
