A hateful 8 took on the Thunderdome this morning to witness the changing of the MQ guard. It was friggin’ cold. 5 took a brisk ruck off campus. Here’s how it all went:
WARM-A-RAMA:
Mosey to end of parking lot, turn around and come back. Circle up in front of storage shed.
SSH x 50 IC
Cotton Picker x 10 IC
Windmill x 10 IC
Arm Circles (Girl Fight)
THE THANG:
Proceed to kettlebells at first corner.
Burpees x 5 OYO
Take KBs and jog to next corner.
KB Thrusters x 5 OYO
Take KBs and jog to next corner.
KB Swings x 5 OYO
Take KBs and jog to next corner.
KB Curls x 5 OYO
Take KBs and jog to first corner.
Repeato each corner in order, adding 5 reps each round. Ended with Burpees x 25 OYO.

- Thank you Two Buck Chuck for your leadership in rebooting and maintaining Thunderdome at GCC. Good luck as you give it away and assume the new leadership of Blender. I can only hope to fill the boots left behind, but am grateful for the opportunity and the confidence.
- The Standard prior to Thunderdome is pure gold. Nothing but straight up magic results from the conversations we have.
- Great workout today. It was nippy at first, but the constant movement helped warm us all up quickly. There’s a reason behind starting the workout with 50 SSH, not a very good one but it’s there. Everyone did an outstanding job and didn't have much left in the tank when we finished.
- I’m going to have to get a Bluetooth speaker, that gave a whole new level of enjoyment with Top Gun playing throughout. Everything did seem to have a shade of blue when Take My Breath Away came on.
- We were momentarily invaded by the chaps from #MMM. Probably scoping out to see how what a hard workout looks like. I’m sure we will see more of them now that they know this is where the big kids play.
- The Calendar is Open in 2018, and this year is going to be outstanding! Sign up to Q or be hounded. Like Liam Neeson, I have a particular set of skills, and I will find you. I guarantee you will enjoy it and be back for more.
